Nutrition, the interaction between food and health, is becoming increasingly important in our society today. This programme will aim to give you a holistic understanding of food and health, underpinned by a strong scientific background.
Graduating as a nutritionist, you will have the skills to apply your knowledge to promote an understanding of the effects of diet and lifestyle on health and well-being in people. UCD aims to have this BSc degree accredited with the Nutrition Society. Thus, all graduates would have professional accreditation as a nutritionist. |

Domestic applicants are required to have passes in six subjects (including two at minimum HC3) including: Irish, English, Mathematics, one laboratory science subject, and two other recognised subjects.
Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma: The minimum for consideration is minimum score of C in six subjects, which includes a minimum of B in two subjects, with English and specific programme requirements. |
